Featured speaker is Jose Cisneros, the elected treasurer of the City and County of San Francisco. Treasurer Cisneros
launched the San Francisco Office of Financial Empowerment in 2006. This office
has created several key initiatives to bank the unbanked, increase access to
high-quality financial education, ensure all workers receive safe electronic
pay, and make college savings accounts universal for all public-school children
in San Francisco.
