Neighborhood leaders successfully completed the Step Up "Neighbhorhood Leadership Academy" and were recognized Dec. 14 with a dinner at the Starfish Cafe. Board Chairman Robert James congratulated this third group, comprised of 18 men and women, and reminded the new crop of leaders they can accomplish anything once their purpose is clear.
Each participant described the community-oriented project they are working on. A full list of the students and their projects appeared in an article in the Savannah Morning News on Dec. 14. Support for the training program comes from The Charles A. Frueauff Foundation.
