Foundation releases report on impacts of immigration enforcement on Latino children in Georgia

The Sapelo Foundation released a report June 22 documenting the impact of immigration enforcement on children and women who are victims of domestic violence in Georgia by interviewing more than 45 stakeholders over a three month period.

The report looked at how families have been impacted by immigration law enforcement in Gwinnett and Cobb counties. It urges comprehensive federal immigration reform and offers suggestions for child welfare policy reform, in light of the research findings.
