Visit the Forsyth Park Farmer's Market, open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturdays, at the south end of Forsyth Park. Vegetables, herbs and plants grown by local farmers are featured, some grown organically, some by conventional means. Food may be purchased with food stamps.

The market includes a Health Pavillion, held on the second Saturday of each month that showcases free gardening and nutrition workshops.
